The Religious Enforcement Section of the Syariah Affairs Department found a couple committing the offence of close proximity (khalwat) at the Jerudong Market parking lot during a recent sting operation.

The enforcement officer said the case involved a 28-year-old local man and a 42-year-old local woman.
