Muslim Bride-To-Be Beaten by Fiance` En Route to Wedding

According to eyewitness reports, the groom, ?.O., started to assault the bride in the car en route to the wedding hall on R?ht?m Street on Sunday. After arriving at the hall, when some relatives of the bride, C.A., tried to stop the groom, he started to attack them as well for interfering. Relatives of the groom also became involved in the fracas. The groom later pulled a gun on some of the bride’s family during the fight. He refused to calm down and became increasingly agitated and assaulted the bride again.

People in the area who tried to stop the fighting were also subjected to punches and kicks. Journalists who were recording the fight were also assaulted by relatives of the bride and groom. The police later arrived at the scene and detained several people involved in the fight for questioning. The wedding did not take place after the incident.

It was reported on Monday that the quarrel between the bride and groom started after the groom’s aunt allegedly presented a fake gold bracelet as a wedding gift. When the bride told the groom about the fake gold bracelet, he allegedly responded, “How dare you talk about my aunt like that?”
