A suicide bombing that killed Israeli tourists in Bulgaria this week bore hallmarks of Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants but the U.S. Defense Department has not yet concluded who was behind it, a Pentagon spokesman said on Friday.

Citing religious views, an accused bank robber known as “The Man in Black” asked a federal judge this week to postpone hearings until the end of Ramadan, a monthlong Muslim observance.

A Glasgow-based asylum seeker has been convicted of financing terrorism over a suicide bomb attack in Sweden.

A jury at the High Court in Glasgow found that Algerian Nasserdine Menni supplied money to Taimour Abdulwahab to help fund the attack.

Abdulwahab – an Iraqi-born Swedish citizen – killed himself on 11 December 2010 in an explosion in Stockholm.

GUILTY Plea for Pentagon Bomb Plotter

A Massachusetts man admitted to plotting to bomb the U.S. Capitol and Pentagon using remote- controlled aircraft.

Rezwan Ferdaus, 26, pleaded guilty today in federal court in Boston to attempting to damage a federal building with an explosive and attempting to provide material support to terrorists. Ferdaus had pleaded not guilty to six charges in October. Four of those charges were dropped.
