Mehmood Kot police have told three men accused of killing a girl by setting her on fire not to leave the town until investigation of the case was complete.

The Syrian government has moved chemical weapons to airports on its borders, the rebel Free Syrian Army said Tuesday, a day after the regime warned it could use them if attacked by an outside force, as France warned that any use of chemical weapons by Syrian government forces would be “unacceptable.”

The ban on Nato supplies routes through Pakistan may have officially been lifted three weeks ago but the containers carrying goods for international forces stationed in Afghanistan remain stranded at the Karachi Port Trust (KPT).

Twelve suspected militants were killed in Shawal Tehsil of North Waziristan Agency when an unmanned US predator drone fired at least six missiles at a compound used as a training centre by militants.
