A New Jersey man was convicted today of kidnapping and murdering his 3-month-old daughter when he threw her off a bridge on the Garden State Parkway.

Shamsiddin Abdur-Raheem, who authorities say tossed the girl off the Driscoll Bridge into the Raritan River, was also convicted of endangering the welfare of a child. He was acquitted of attempted murder of the baby’s grandmother, but he was convicted of assault and assault with an automobile.
