Muslims in Tulsa, and some others who support them, will hold a rally Saturday afternoon to “stand up for the tradition of Prophet Muhammad,” Islamic Society of Tulsa spokeswoman Sheryl Siddiqui announced Friday.
The “United Against Hate Speech” rally will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the intersection of 101st Street and Memorial Drive, she said in a written announcement.
Participants are asked to dress in white, if possible, she said.
A short, crudely made California film denigrating Muhammad has been blamed for riots across the Muslim world and dozens of deaths this month.
“In light of the recent tragic events, both nationally and globally, related in part to another vitriolic film targeting Muslims and Islam, American Muslims affirm that the best response to hate speech is patience, respect and forgiveness as espoused by Prophet Muhammad,” Siddiqui said.
“Contrary to popular belief, Muslims believe in conversation not confrontation; peaceful dialogue and civil discourse, not reactionary violence and nugatory reprisals” she said.

Why don’t these ba$$ess writers put the blame where it belongs?? The movie was on the internet for a couple of month til an Iman saw it and raised the hue and cry to infuriate the Mooslims. and it was picked up by the other Imans very successfully, I might add.
