Vin Ienco Interviews Pamela Geller

I am honored to have had the opportunity to interview Pamela Geller.

Pamela Geller is the first lady of the American Counter-Jihad movement and a tireless advocate for freedom of speech and for the Middle East’s only Democracy, Israel.

Pamela Geller is the founder, editor and publisher of Atlas Shrugs.com and executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) and a member of the President’s Council of Stop Islamization of Nations.

Geert Wilders has proudly declared that Pamela Geller is a hero, while Michael Freund of the Jerusalem Post said: “Indeed, some of Israel’s best friends and most articulate defenders can be found in the blogosphere …. Atlas Shrugs, [et al] all provide a refreshing alternative to the moral relativism and politically correct anti-Israel blather of the media”.

Her first book Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance is a must-have for anyone that cares about the future of America and the on-going attempt to destroy our freedom and liberties and replace them with Sharia.

Vin Ienco: Pamela Geller, thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to answer some questions for me.

In your book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance, you have dug deep in exposing the façade of peace that is often portrayed to the media and in effect removed the mask of deception. Are Americans getting it and can you give us an insight to where you think we might be in 30 or 40 years’ time if we don’t push back?

Pamela Geller: More and more Americans are getting it all the time. The problem is that those who don’t get it are the mainstream media and the political elites. Both are increasingly out of touch with the American people. In 30 or 40 years’ time, or sooner, Muslims in America will be acting like Muslims in Europe are today: establishing Sharia zones where they reject the law of the land, behaving with increasing violence and belligerence, and demanding ever more concessions.

Vin: Can you tell us about your group The American Freedom Defense Initiative (ADFI) and the goals of the organization?

Pamela: AFDI is dedicated to defending the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and equality of rights for all people. No special rights for special classes.

Vin: You recently attended a conference in Stockholm with Robert Spencer, Tommy Robinson and others where a new organization emerged called, Stop Islamization of Nations (SION). Can you give us some insight into this group and why it was created?

Pamela: SION is an international coalition dedicated to enabling pro-freedom groups in Europe, the U.S., India, Israel, Australia and elsewhere to coordinate efforts, provide mutual assistance to one another, and strengthen our defense of freedom worldwide.

Vin: Freedom of speech is again ‘front and center’ with your new ads that have recently gone up in New York Subways.  Can you tell us why these ads were created?

Pamela: I created these ads in response to the anti-Israel ads that ran in the New York subways, in order to tell the truth about the jihad against Israel and all free people.

Vin: The word ‘savage’ is defined by dictionary.com as:

1. fierce, ferocious, or cruel; untamed: savage beasts.

2. uncivilized; barbarous: savage tribes.

3. unpolished; rude: savage manners.

You would be one hundred percent correct in applying that title to the pair that slaughtered the Fogel Family in Israel or the 19 that killed 3,000 innocent people on 9/11 and indeed, those that so coldly and viciously murdered Daniel Pearl. Why are the media and other assorted apologists offended by the word ‘savage’?

Pamela: They use their outrage over this word as a pretext to silence pro-Israel and counter-jihad voices like mine. The media is clearly dedicated to advancing the Islamic supremacist agenda and enabling their importation of Sharia blasphemy laws to the U.S. That’s what this is all about.

Vin: The controversy over your ads escalated with Egyptian woman, Mona Eltahawy defacing your ads with pink spray- paint, in a premeditated attack. She has proudly sided with the likes of the 19 terrorists of 9/11 and The Fogel Family terrorists etc., by calling herself a ‘proud savage.’ Do you feel it is ironic that she is cherry-picking what part of U.S values she uses as an alleged reformer of Islam and ‘Liberal Muslim,’ titles that she subscribes to and that would result in dire consequences in her Islamist homeland?

Pamela: Mona is demonstrating Stockholm Syndrome, siding with those who sexually assaulted her in Tahrir Square. She wrote an excellent article several months ago about Islam’s mistreatment of women, resulting in her being harshly criticized by her former Islamic supremacist friends. Her vandalism of my ad was apparently an attempt to get back into their good graces.

Vin: The Washington Metropolitan Transit Area Authority is also looking at endorsing Sharia, succumbing to terrorism and rethinking their contract. Why, like the NYC Authorities, are they so fast to throw the U.S Constitution ‘under the train’, as it were?

Pamela: The US District Court for DC ultimately ruled in our favor. But the WMATA was just displaying the cowardice that all U.S. officials display these days. They think cowardice is prudence, and have forgotten what it means to stand up for one’s principles. It doesn’t bode well for the future.

Vin: To quote George W Bush, when he said ‘you are either with us or you are against us,’ are these Transit Authorities and assorted apologists actively supporting Sharia in your view?

Pamela: Obviously.

Vin: I recently saw a video where you announced that you are going City-wide with a broader ad campaign; can you tell us some more about this?

Pamela: We’re not only going citywide; we’re going nationwide. Ads will be soon rolling out all over the country.

Vin: Finally, how can the average American get involved and stop the creeping sharia?

Pamela: In innumerable ways. Look around you. See what the Islamic supremacists are doing and counter it. Write me at [email protected] and tell me what you see, and I will help you formulate strategies.
